Empowering Education with LAIA Foundation

LAIA Foundation is a non-governmental organization actively engaged in social service initiatives across Chennai and Barcelona, focusing on education and community development.
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, BDPL has been proud to support the foundation over the past several years by providing financial assistance dedicated to educational initiatives. These contributions help sustain evening tuition programs for underprivileged children across rural communities.
Currently, around 500 children from 10 villages benefit from these evening learning centers, gaining access to academic support and a more promising future.
Recently, our team of volunteers visited these village centers located near Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary—India’s oldest bird sanctuary, spread across 30 hectares and home to nearly 40,000 migratory and resident birds annually. The visit provided an opportunity for our staff to engage directly with the children, spend meaningful time with them, and encourage their educational aspirations. The team also distributed biscuits and chocolates, adding moments of joy to the day.
The experience was deeply fulfilling, reinforcing our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

The LAIA Foundation organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to BioSystems for the visit and continued support toward their mission.
