About BDPL
BioSystems Diagnostics Private Limited (BDPL) has been distributing high-quality in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products across India since 2003 through a strong and committed network of distributor partners.
Established in 2003, as a joint venture between BioSystems SA (Spain) and Trivitron Healthcare, BDPL began its journey with trading of IVD reagents and instruments and has since expanded into in-house manufacturing operations in India.
BDPL has set up a state-of-the-art In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) reagents manufacturing facility at Trivitron Medical Technology Park, Sriperumbudur, near Chennai in the year 2012 and further scaled up with semi auto-analyser assembly in 2019. The facility is designed in line with international quality standards, including ISO and GMP-DCA guidelines, to ensure consistent quality, reliability and compliance in manufacturing of clinical diagnostic products.
The plant has a capacity of around 200 KL per annum and is designed for scalability and efficiency, using modern technologies to support growing demand and deliver reliable diagnostic solutions.

This investment aligns closely with the Government of India’s “Make in India” initiative, helping reduce dependence on imports, enhance self-reliance in critical healthcare technologies, and contribute to India’s growing role in global diagnostic innovation. By expanding domestic manufacturing, we aim to make reliable and affordable clinical testing more accessible to patients across the country – from major urban centers to emerging & rural healthcare communities.
